Work Description Seat Engineering and FEA for ABTS and conventional seat • FMVSS 207/210 Body Block FE analysis, rear ultimate analysis, modal analysis on seat. • A sub-system level FEA was performed on tube recliner, back frame, tracks, suspension and mounting base. • Evaluated different concepts for different components of seat using FEA. • Performed the sled test simulation – Frontal Impact with 95% dummies to evaluate the performance of seat. • Drop test simulations for Electronic pens, and pump cases.
