WORK INDEPENDENT SAP APO CONSULTANT OCT 2001 – JULY 2003 EXPER. Working on contract to: www.supply-chain.com.au ? Analyzed lot for lot sizing. Configured and tested the CTM Search Strategy. Investigated Lot for Lot, Periodic, Reorder Point and Fixed Lot size in conjunction with the lot sizing at the set at the PPM for a CTM creating PP/DS orders. This required investigation of PP/DS functionality in order to determine how to batch orders into single rather than multiple production runs. Created the documentation and recommended a change in lot sizing and presented the solution to the client. Managed the changes to master data required to make the change permanent. ? Analyzed Supply Distribution and CTM (SNP) for the movement of overages from factory to warehouse in an economical manner. Created quotas, CTM profiles and test scenarios to determine the affects of Supply Distribution on the previous CTM run. Interviewed members of factory planning, planners and previous APO configuration resources to solve the problem of stock movements of overages from plants to warehouses. Managed the changes to master data required to make the change permanent. ? Worked with business reps to gather SNP and gATP master data to support new test system. Maintained specifications, interpreted APO data requirements in conjunction with client data sources. Worked with the integration team to work out data inconsistencies and to schedule the master data uploads through the BW in line with project timelines. Estimated the project plan and budget, resources and expected benefits. In preparation for the implementation configured CIF on SNP profiles, planning horizons, and PPDS and heuristics. ? Lead for an APO DP implementation. Developed the functional documentation and performed the DP configuration of the planning books, and planning areas. Worked with users to explain interactive demand planning and the planning books. Managed an ABAP team involved in master data, and configuration of the CIF. Investigated the various forecasting methods and configured and tested the forecasting models and functionality. Worked with a BW specialist in determining the requirements for the DP infocubes. ? Managed the internal development for Knowledge Management Group of a connector between APO and SAP for high volume industries ? Developed intellectual property in the areas of supply chain systems for the KMG supply chain practice. This includes work in inventory planning for low demand service parts, collaborative planning for the textile industry and transportation route planning and co-managed freight.
I2 TECHNOLOGIES PROJECT MANAGER SAP INTEGRATION SINGAPORE 2000 - SEPT 2001 Projects ? Prepared comprehensive technical SAP integration analysis/plan for a large German car manufacturer. The effort included hardware, infrastructure, software and resources ? Program Manager for a DP, SCP & Replenishment Planner (RP) installation for a Sydney based grocery client. My duties stretched across application teams to the integration-infrastructure teams for the three module installation. Handled open project issues with i2 development. Owned the hardware selection process. Owned the account from the consulting side. Mentored the i2 project team ? Project Manager for RCP RFQ, a procurement and collaboration project for a semiconductor manufacturer in Taiwan. Developed SAP integration project plan and provided methodology and integration scripts to my engineering team. Hired & managed a contract ABAP coder. Managed a 4 person project team ? Solution Architect for a marketplace integration in Singapore. Architecture included RCP RFQ app. Designed M2M integration from scripts and worked in project planning for extensive modifications to the RCP RFQ application in order to meet customer requirements. My team included 4 application engineers and a DBA. Served as an advisor for technology usage, notable whether XML would be used & which transaction set library would be selected for M2M workflows. Created the integration design to multiple client SAP and non-SAP systems ? Initial Integration Solution Architect for airline food catering firm, the i2 powered eGateMatrix before my transfer to Asia. Created high level architecture diagrams & integration components for a CM / RCP RFQ / SCP / DP implementation. Presented concepts in structured data exchanged & extra-enterprise communication for the client. This project entailed the design of integration to SAP
I2 TECHNOLOGIES SR. CONSULTANT SAP INTEGRATION LOS ANGELES MAY 1998 – 2000 Projects ? Project Manager for integration of SAP R/3 4.0 & 4.5 AFS solution with i2’s suite for a major apparel client. Integration included creating and managing the workplan for mapping IDOCs through the ADW for SCP, DP and TM applications. Documented, communicated and justified architecture to client program management. Responsible for communicating and adhering to i2 data model and translation of SAP output to this model. Selected integration team members. Coordinated with SAP integration project manager on test methodology, benchmarks, development and test plan. Co-managed effort with integration project manager from SAP America. Negotiated work to be performed with SAP in concert with client agreement ? The software modules were the Global Logistics Manager (GLM) and Supply Chain Planner (SCP) with third party WMS and Transportation Manager (TM). Sterling Commerce Gentran-EDI was selected as the integration message architecture. Oversaw 4-person team during model building, unit, integration (with 4 other systems) and system testing. Managed pilot of SCP at this client and assisted in sales cycle. Functional business lead for Rhythm Collaboration Planner (RCP) at the same client. Worked with technical leads and architecture consultants in scoping, documenting and recommending RCP to executive committee ? Systems Analyst on SAP/i2 single module integration project between i2 execution-level shipping program and SCP, Capable to Promise and SD/MM modules of SAP R/3 4.0. Wrote the conceptual documentation describing the data communication and frequency between four software modules. Performed field mapping between i2 Active Data Warehouse (i2’s Common Data Model) tables and SAP Delivery Create Table. Served as point of contact for technical resources brought on to perform technical integration.
