Engineer in corDECT SWITCH Job responsibility includes DIU Commissioning , Maintanence linux omc-pc installation, Daily subscriber operations in commands like changing deleting, displaying etc, taking backups like billing backup traffic measurement etc. CorDECT WLL system introduction : It is based on Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT) standard of European telecommunication standards institute (ETSI).DECT defines a wireless communication standard between FP and PP. the communication takes place using gaussian frequency shift keying(GFSK) modulation. The access technique used is MC-TDMA (multicarrier), a new technique in which frequency can exchange from one time slot to another. DECT uses a frame of 10ms in which 24 time slots are defined. The communication between FP and PP use time division duplex in which 12 time slots are used for each way transmission in a 20 Mhz frequency spectrum used by a DECT system , 10 carriers are defined. Thus for communication from PP to FP ; 10 carriers can be used in each of the 12 time slots, amounting 120 channels .In DECT no channel is assigned to any FP or PP. Any PP can select any of the 120 channels to communicate to a FP using dynamic channel selection(DCS) Algorithm. (2) IN O & M DEPTT. {since JAN 01, 2002. TO 17 AUG 2003} Worked as Jr. Engineer.
